The latest book to join my &#8220;in progress&#8221; queue is <a href=\"https:\/\/pragprog.com\/book\/gdestimate\/software-estimation-without-guessing\">Software Estimation Without Guessing<\/a> by George Dinwiddle. Our views on estimation line up quite a <g class=\"gr_ gr_15 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep\" id=\"15\" data-gr-id=\"15\">lot,<\/g> and this book has already been invaluable in a few conversations I&#8217;ve had in the last week.<\/li><li>Yet another article on generalists vs. specialists. <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.to\/d_ir\/a-generalist-is-born-when-a-specialist-becomes-bored-3a6a\">A generalist is born when a specialist becomes bored<\/a> <\/li><li>I&#8217;ve been Linux and Mac exclusively for over a year now, but I&#8217;m still learning my way around the shell sometimes. I&#8217;ve been going through <a href=\"http:\/\/swcarpentry.github.io\/shell-novice\/\">yet-another <g class=\"gr_ gr_13 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"13\" data-gr-id=\"13\">unix<\/g> shell tutorial<\/a> this week &#8211; and while a lot of it is a review, I&#8217;m still finding it valuable.<\/li><li>Given my interest in data analysis to understand customer usage, I&#8217;m pretty excited to have <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.unity3d.com\/2019\/09\/19\/deltadna-joins-unity-offering-best-in-class-tools-to-engage-your-players\">deltaDNA<\/a> join Unity this week.<\/li><li>My favorite tweet of the week:<br \/> <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">So if you want to use a USB floppy drive, you use a USB protocol called the UFI: Uniform Floppy Interface.<br \/><br \/>What&#8217;s UFI?
