{"id":1651,"date":"2019-11-01T17:39:15","date_gmt":"2019-11-02T00:39:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/angryweasel.com\/blog\/?p=1651"},"modified":"2019-11-01T17:39:23","modified_gmt":"2019-11-02T00:39:23","slug":"five-for-friday-november-1-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/angryweasel.com\/blog\/five-for-friday-november-1-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Five for Friday &#8211; November 1, 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;ve been in a funk this week &#8211; too many things I&#8217;m interested in, and not enough time to remain interested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>My <em>Introduction to Modern Testing<\/em> course <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/FqkUXsuduF\">is available on the Ministry of Testing Website<\/a> &#8211; so far, feedback has been quite positive.<\/li><li>I had an old article of mine (I&#8217;m Tired of Finding Bugs) <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@lopesdoamaral\/estou-cansado-de-encontrar-bugs-ff2ed5a59c23\">translated into Portuguese<\/a> this week. Note that I glanced at it, recognized a few words, and assumed it was Spanish. Thankfully I was reminded nicely by a follower, but dumb mistake on my part anyway. <\/li><li>I binged all of season two of the <a href=\"https:\/\/soapboxhq.com\/about\/people-leading-people-podcast\">People Leading People podcast<\/a> this week. Lot&#8217;s of good interviews &#8211; there were a few where I didn&#8217;t agree with the leaders approach, but I may have enjoyed those even more.<\/li><li>As predicted in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.angryweasel.com\/ABTesting\/ab-testing-episode-95-the-2018-reflection-prediction-show\/\">AB Testing Ep 95<\/a>, the Seattle Sounders are heading to the MLS Championship match. <\/li><li>It&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nanowrimo.org\/\">NaNoWriMo<\/a> &#8211; the time of year when a million casual writers slowly learn how hard good writing actually is. Once again, I&#8217;m attempting to write a book this month, and will do so until life gets in the way.<br \/>My record to this point is nearly 4 days of writing during the month of November &#8211; but today is different.
