I&#8217;ll have it set up by next week for any of you who would prefer to have this weekly set of links emailed to you as I publish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s a few interesting things I found this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I&#8217;m quickly becoming a big fan of the <a href=\"https:\/\/darknetdiaries.com\/\">Darknet Diaries podcast<\/a>. Good stories, good interviewing, and an endless stream of interesting anecdotes on security and the &#8220;darker&#8221; parts of the web.<\/li><li>I don&#8217;t think I heard about it on darknet diaries, but I found this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.security.org\/how-secure-is-my-password\/\">password checker website<\/a> really fun to play with.<\/li><li>Great article from HBR this week asking, <a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2021\/03\/do-you-have-a-jargon-problem\">does your office have a jargon problem<\/a>?<\/li><li>I frequently (constantly?) criticize hiring and interview paradigms. This article on <a href=\"https:\/\/peoplelogic.ai\/blog\/7-biases-that-impact-your-hiring-process\">bias in hiring<\/a> reminded me that I need to continue to ask hard questions on this topic.<\/li><li>I love good debugging stories. Here&#8217;s a good one from <a href=\"https:\/\/github.blog\/2021-03-18-how-we-found-and-fixed-a-rare-race-condition-in-our-session-handling\/\">github<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay safe and have a good week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good news &#8211; I was able to put a simple captcha in place that may slow the spam signups to the FfF newsletter.
