Hope everyone is holding up. As usual, here are some things I found this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What do you do when a US state imposes an absolute asinine law and related process? You fuck that shit up and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vice.com\/en\/article\/z3x9ba\/tiktok-texas-abortion-law-bot-site-ios-shortcut\">spin up some automation that floods their whistleblower site until it breaks.<\/a><\/li><li>Oh wait &#8211; it gets better. As I&#8217;m typing these, I see that the idiots in the Texas government hosted their whistleblower site on GoDaddy&#8230;and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/news\/godaddy-is-kicking-texas-abortion-whistleblower-site-from-its-servers\/\">GoDaddy says it violates their terms of service and are shutting it down.<\/a><\/li><li>Nicole Forsgren is flat out a hero of mine. <a href=\"https:\/\/future.a16z.com\/on-workplace-productivity\/\">Her article on workplace productivity<\/a> did not let me down.<\/li><li>For me, it&#8217;s getting tougher lately to focus and get work done. This article on <a href=\"https:\/\/ashleyjanssen.com\/how-to-use-ritual-to-support-deep-work-and-stay-focussed\/\">deep focus<\/a> has given me some inspiration that I hope I can put to good use.<\/li><li>Saved an important one for last this week. I, and a lot of other leaders are seeing more and more signs of burnout in our organizations. As such, I&#8217;ve been reading a lot about it. Here&#8217;s a great overview of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/visier\/2021\/09\/01\/when-vacations-arent-enough-the-employee-burnout-epidemic\/?sh=7379aa916536\">growing problem with burnout<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well&#8230;it&#8217;s been another week.
