In between the long days and questionable decisions, I found (or was sent) a few links that I liked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In an almost regular feature of FfF, I&#8217;ll start by sharing my favorite article on avoiding burnout this week. <a href=\"https:\/\/marissagoldberg.medium.com\/how-to-make-2023-your-year-of-no-burnout-4da311dac390\">How To Make 2023 Your Year of No Burnout<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This article &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2023\/01\/when-your-feelings-conflict-with-your-leadership-role\">When Your Feelings Conflict with Your Leadership Role<\/a> &#8211; hit home with me. A lot to learn here for a lot of us.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I watched the first two episodes of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Last_of_Us_(TV_series)\">The Last of Us<\/a> on Sunday. I didn&#8217;t think I&#8217;d like it, because I generally don&#8217;t like movies based on video games, but holy shit is it good.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you&#8217;ve already seen the first two episodes, you should read more about in this all-to-real article on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesradar.com\/the-last-of-us-tv-show-cordyceps-explained-fungus-real\/\">The Cordyceps fungus<\/a> in this sort of haunting article (thanks Molly for the link)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I saw the new Avatar movie recently. While the plot and story are&#8230;ok, it&#8217;s definitely worth the experience in IMAX 3D. It&#8217;s also cool that it&#8217;s nominated for an <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2023\/film\/news\/oscar-nominations-2023-list-1235495072\/\">Oscar in visual effects<\/a> (which are made with Unity W?t? tools)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks again for reading &#8211; see you all next week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Like last week, this week has had some ups and downs.
