{"id":2240,"date":"2023-07-28T12:22:06","date_gmt":"2023-07-28T19:22:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/angryweasel.com\/blog\/?p=2240"},"modified":"2023-07-28T12:22:10","modified_gmt":"2023-07-28T19:22:10","slug":"five-for-friday-july-28-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/angryweasel.com\/blog\/five-for-friday-july-28-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Five for Friday &#8211; July 28, 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I have fully recovered from the Taylor Swift concert last week, and ready to share a few things I think are interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We may as well lead with Tay &#8211; not surprisingly, the Seattle shows registered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/07\/27\/entertainment\/taylor-swift-seismic-activity\/index.html\">measurable seismic activity<\/a> I&#8217;m sure the same will happen in Santa Clara this weekend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I <em>want<\/em> to link to Abi Noda&#8217;s newsletter every week, but I&#8217;m sure you all read it yourself already. This week, however, I want to highlight his post on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pulse\/enabling-good-work-habits-through-reflective-abi-noda\/\">reflective goal setting<\/a> (or as I think of it &#8211; a personal retrospective). I&#8217;ve been doing something similar for years, and it really works. Definitely worth a read and a try.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I&#8217;m one of those weirdos who loves shell scripting. I&#8217;m also one of those people who forgets shit all the time. This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stationx.net\/bash-cheat-sheet\/\">bash cheatsheet <\/a>&#8211; while one of millions on the subject, works quite well for me.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I&#8217;ve been fascinated with this <a href=\"https:\/\/climatereanalyzer.org\/clim\/sst_daily\/\">Climate Analyzer<\/a> from University of Maine. Fascinated and a little frightened. It&#8217;s worth checking out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There can be only Two. My weekly FfF posts are inspired by Tim Ferris&#8217;s Five Bullet Friday.
