Here are a few links I found scrawled on the sidewalk on the way home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It&#8217;s time for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.practitest.com\/state-of-testing\/\">2024 State of Testing<\/a> survey. Fill it out and confirm that developers should be doing the vast majority of the testing on mature teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I can&#8217;t say I didn&#8217;t see it coming, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/unity-software-cutting-25-staff-company-reset-continuation-2024-01-08\/\">Unity is laying off a whole-lot-o-people this mon<\/a>th. Pretty wild times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you read the other blog, you&#8217;ll know that I&#8217;m big on employee engagement. I was prepared to not like this article on <a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2024\/01\/3-key-metrics-that-employee-engagement-surveys-miss\">3 Key Metrics That Employee Engagement Surveys Miss<\/a> &#8211; but I did like it. And I agree with it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I&#8217;m reading <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/75665850-clear-thinking\">Clear Thinking<\/a>, by Shane Parrish, and so far, I&#8217;m really liking it. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally &#8211; I sort of believe that everyone should know a little about browser debugging. It&#8217;s just darn handy.
