I am finding the latest (and current) Trump trial interesting, and there&#8217;s big news in the Swifty world this week &#8211; but I&#8217;ll keep my links this week to the tech and leadership adjacent topics I usually try and stick with (just kidding &#8211; it&#8217;s almost all AI)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First up is a shout out to my new favorite terminal &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.warp.dev\/\">warp<\/a>. It&#8217;s sort of perfect for me, and <em>massively<\/em> customizable. I haven&#8217;t had this much fun with a terminal since I used <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/4DOS\">4DOS<\/a> in 1991.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you&#8217;re like me (and the data say you are), you rarely go to stackoverflow.com now that you have ChatGPT. Stackoverflow is run by smart people &#8211; so they&#8217;re <a href=\"https:\/\/stackoverflow.co\/company\/press\/archive\/openai-partnership\">partnering with OpenAI <\/a>to make sure that they have the best answers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Of course, nothing to do with AI is without drama and hype,. Within a day, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomshardware.com\/tech-industry\/artificial-intelligence\/stack-overflow-bans-users-en-masse-for-rebelling-against-openai-partnership-users-banned-for-deleting-answers-to-prevent-them-being-used-to-train-chatgpt\">a bunch of folks on Stackoverflow rebelled<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BUT &#8211; if you&#8217;re want to rise above it all and use AI <em>responsibly<\/em>, there&#8217;s this aptly named article on <a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2024\/05\/how-to-implement-ai-responsibly\">How to Implement AI \u2014\u00a0Responsibly<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally &#8211; every pointy-haired boss who pays for github co-pilot for their teams wants to know if it makes teams more productive. This is the only article I&#8217;ve read that has a <em>research<\/em> based bias. &#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/cacm.acm.org\/research\/measuring-github-copilots-impact-on-productivity\/\">Measuring GitHub Copilot\u2019s Impact on Productivity<\/a>. Of course none of those metrics are available to the pointy-haired bosses, but GitHub released a <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.github.com\/en\/rest\/copilot\/copilot-usage?apiVersion=2022-11-28\">bit of the API in beta<\/a> recently. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s all &#8211; or that&#8217;s AI &#8211; whichever works best for you.
