I skipped a week – but I’m back for today at least. Here are a few interesting things I found this week.
- Great article this week on Lenny’s Newsletter about developer productivity – Introducing Core 4: The best way to measure and improve your product velocity
- This article on Should managers still code? answers this often-asked question – and so much more. Definitely worth a read.
- I love how configurable git is – and while I don’t get to use it much anymore, I’m a big fan of the blog series from gitbutler – and especially this article on How Core Git Developers Configure Git
- I also enjoyed this article on building a great engineering culture. If you read my newsletters, you know that I try to build cultures based on transparency, accountability, and psychological safety, and nice to see flavors of those show up in this article.
- Because software sucks, a betting firm lost over a million dollars due to a bug in an online slot game.
Thanks again for reading – see you in a week (or two).
